Just got home from another fantastic SU win. It’s definitely a good thing that Cornell sucks bc our ball handling was awful!!!
Hopefully we don’t play that badly against PSU on Saturday!
B12 – who knew?

So we all know I’ve been in and out of the doctors offices all summer. We’ve been finding out all kind of stuff (not always what we’re looking for, but hearing something is better than nothing – even if it has NOTHING to do with why you’re there).
One of the things we found out, is apparently although it’s uncommon, I have a serious B12 deficiency! Its a pretty freakin important vitamin…in Dennis’s words. Where do you B12? The best source is liver. Second, fried clams. Sardines, kidneys, rabbit, fatty fish, duck cod, eggs, corned beef, condensed milk etc….Waaaaay below all that comes cereals and double cheeseburgers. The amount of B12 contained in all those foods other than liver and clams is so minute it almost doesn’t exist. I’ve had dozens of blood tests done and never did any of the doctors catch this.
B12 is important to help with normal brain and nervous system functioning as well as the formation of blood. It is also involved in energy production which is why they think I’m so tired all the time….at least someone finally knows!
I take B12 daily and I will say, I can tell the difference if I don’t. I feel slow, lethargic….sometimes my brain just doesn’t work the way it should or I just can’t get enough done….that’s when I realize I’ve not taken enough of my vitamins and quickly will pop a B12 sublingual vitamin in my mouth.
I honestly think everyone should take this, even if they aren’t deficient! My parents have both started taking it as well as a few of my friends!
If you want to know more before you start taking it, ask me, ask Dennis, ask your doctor, or look at your multivitamin and see if it has some in there!

A Day Off

Well, today Dennis and I decided I need a technology free day! This will be all I’m going to do. I’ve been feeling overwhelmed beyond belief, and the last thing I want is to go to the game tonight feeling like this.
Right now I’m all snuggled up with the Butkus! My day today will consist of crocheting a blanket I’m making for a Christmas present and working on making corn bags. I have a bunch of people that have ordered them…..so that’s that. If I feel up to it I’ll get the ornaments on the tree.
But hey….if you need a corn bag let me know, they start at $5

Yesterday Dennis was working his normal weekend shift on 93Q. I always do my best to listen to him. It makes me feel like he’s with me even when he isn’t. Well, he told me to listen bc he had a little shout out for me. He’s done little ones before but never really made a comment that would show he has a girlfriend. So I figured it was going to be another hidden message or one of our inside jokes.
Wasn’t I shocked and ecstatic to hear what I heard. He was introducing Bruno Mars Just The Way You Are and said exactly this, “Hey guys, make sure you tell your girl how beautiful she is. Because if you don’t, someone else will! Love you baby!”
I burst into tears! It was one of the sweetest things he’s ever done! I love him so much!
I used to be a hopeless romantic. Then I met him and the hopelessness disappeared. He has made my life 100% better than it was before and I finally know what true love and REAL trust feel like!

It’s the last SU football home game of the season. Very depressing. Even worse that we lost…and that we played so terribly.
At least we still have all our bball tickets! And we’ll have football tickets for next year….and maybe then we’ll be good!

Well, we finally did it! Actually now that I think about it we really haven’t been waiting long…I think we only decided this week to get them…but we got our his and her’s iPads!!!!
It’s not my first Xmas gift. That was my su season tickets for bball. Then he got me a mousepad that he made for me…of course it’s SU
I gave him his iPad and I made him a coffee mug with pictures of the doggies and on the top it says “We love you Daddy!” Very cute!
Dennis is setting up his iPad right now and I absolutely can’t WAIT to get mine going!
